Material Cost Allowances

Prospective university teachers in chemistry and chemistry-related disciplines can apply to the fund for a material cost grant of up to 10,000 euros.
This funding is intended as a start-up aid for high-performing young scientists and is intended to specifically support the development of an independent research area. The money can be used, for example, to purchase special chemicals, equipment, or specialist literature.

Funding applications can now be submitted exclusively via the digital funding portal of the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie.
