A Petri dish instead of animal testing? The chemical industry has been supporting these efforts for over 20 years.

Aim: To reduce animal testing

Brief description: VCI has supported the Foundation for the Promotion of Research on Replacement and Complementary Methods to Reduce Animal Testing (SET) since its establishment in 1986. Animal protection and industrial organizations work together within this body. Up to 2005, the Foundation had awarded more than €3 million to over 60 research projects at higher education institutions and universities.
