To support member companies, and customer companies in the value chain, to manage the health, safety and environmental aspects of nanomaterials throughout the life cycle, the German Chemical Industry Association VCI has issued a series of documents. They provide guidance on all aspects of a good product stewardship on nanomaterials.

Die deutsche chemische Industrie bekennt sich zu einem verantwortlichen Umgang mit Nanomaterialien.

Um Hersteller und Kunden in der Lieferkette beim verantwortlichen Umgang mit Nanomaterialien zu unterstützen hat der VCI eine Reihe von Leitfäden erstellt, die alle Aspekte guter Produktverantwortung umfassen. Diese Leitfäden wurden in englischer Sprache erstellt, da die Dokumente im Rahmen der internationalen Harmonisierungsbestrebungen auch bei der Europäischen Union und der OECD eingebracht wurden. Einzelne Leitfäden sind auch in deutscher Fassung verfügbar.
